Our Mission to Rebuild Lives

After years of struggling with addiction and homelessness Pastor Jamie found new life and new hope through faith in Jesus Christ. Since then he has answered the call to pastor First Baptist of Weirsdale and founded Rise Up Ministries inc. in order to rebuild lives and restore hope as it was done for him through transitional housing for men in recovery, a clothing and essential closets, a food pantry, and more to come.

We believe every individual deserves a second chance and the opportunity to truly thrive. Our programs are built to meet people where they are—especially those walking the difficult road of recovery. We focus not only on immediate relief, but on equipping each person with the tools, support, and structure needed for long-term success. Through a Christ-centered approach and a community that genuinely cares, we create an environment where men and families can rebuild their lives, discover their purpose, and rise into the fullness of who God created them to be.

From food assistance and clothing support to crisis intervention and personal guidance, we strive to meet the urgent needs of individuals and families right here in our own backyard.
